Films I produced, directed, edited for the National Theatre celebrating 50 years of Othello at the NT and the wider performance history of the play. Interviews with Adrian Lester, Professor Carol Rutter and Professor Tony Howard.

I work as a freelance filmmaker for the National Theatre. I research, write, direct and edit short educational films for the NT's digital content platforms.

I began presenting for the BBC and CBBC programme Stitch up! in 2004. I have presented several documentaries for Classroom Videos Productions (Steven Berkoff, Budgeting, Economic Factors) and Mantra Lingua Productions.

As part of my research for AHRC funded project British Black and Asian Shakespeare with my PhD at the University of Warwick, I am involved in touring an exhibition, talks, leading workshops and other such events. Here are some examples of what we've been exploring.

As a Bollywood dancer and choreographer I have toured around the world with the Bollywood Brass Band and have performed at UK venues including the Royal Albert Hall and National Theatre. I lead workshops for people of all ages and have most recently been Assistant Choreographer for BBC3 Bollywood Carmen. A highlight has been teaching Danny Boyle to dance to Jai Ho in the presence of Oscar award winning composer of the song, A. R. Rahman!

I joined NYT in 2007 and performed in shows each summer for five years including at the Soho Theatre, Tramway Theatre, World Expo Shanghai and Buckingham Palace. I acted in each production until 2012 when I joined the creative team as Assistant Choreographer for Team Welcome Ceremonies and Movement Director for Weekday Nights.

My first foray into work behind the camera was for the RSC in 2008. I worked on a production of Hamlet directed by Tarell Alvin McCraney producing a short documentary including rehearsal footage and interviews.

From attending the DIY young people's filmmaking course at the BFI I produced two short films during the week.

During final year at the University of Warwick we did a module on Othello and these films contributed to our examination of the politics of race and character in the play.
